The Greenwich Time newspaper is reporting that bullying is likely a factor in the suicide of Bart Palosz, 15, a Greenwich High School sophomore, on the first day of classes this week.

The story integrates posts from Palosz' Google + page and quotes a source close to Bart Palosz, who said he "had been bullied since he moved to Greenwich from his native Poland when he was in elementary school."

"School crisis teams on Wednesday convened at Greenwich High, Western Middle School and New Lebanon School, which are the schools that Palosz attended. Mental health personnel are providing counseling to anyone in need," the story says.

Superintendent of Schools William McKersie is quoted as saying the situation is being carefully investigated.
