Connecticut Demands Answers From Anthem on Theft of Customers' Data

The state is demanding that Anthem Inc. provide more information about a data breach that may have compromised the personal information of tens of millions of its customers, says a CT News Junkie story published by the New Haven Register. Anthem President and CEO Joseph Swedish said hackers obtained access to “personal information from our current and former members such as their names, birthdays, medical IDs/social security numbers, street addresses, email addresses and employment information, including income data,” according to the story.
