Off to See the Wizard

Of course you love the classic 1939 flick, The Wizard of Oz—what card-carrying child-at-heart doesn’t? The magical tale of Dorothy and her three stalwart if misfit friends—the Tin Man, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion—will be shown at the IMAX Theater at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk (maritimeaquarium.org) on Sun., March 4 at 2. The film will likely be even more glorious on the six-story IMAX screen. The American Film Institute ranks it the 10th greatest movie of all time, and Judy Garland’s “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” the greatest song in American film.

To reserve tickets ($11.50 adults, $10.50 seniors, $9.50 children 2-12), call (203) 852-0700, ext. 2206 or go online at www.maritimeaquarium.org.
