Artisan Introduces Kid-Friendly Sundays

If you’re taking the kids along to Sunday brunch, Artisan at the Delamar Southport might not be your first choice (or second or third), right? A fine restaurant like this one—presided over by Frederic Kieffer, one of the state's best chefs—is bound to be bit pricey for a family meal. But think again: Artisan now has a kids’ brunch buffet—and it’s free! The restaurant just introduced it last Sunday. That day there were three warm entrées—pancakes, penne marinara and chicken tenders—plus a lovely fruit salad and a plate of yummy-looking peanut butter cookies. How cool is that? So, now you can while away an hour or two in the elegant white-linen-napped dining room, or the sunny, more casual tavern, enjoying cinnamon-apple brioche French toast or steak and eggs (with home fries, asparagus and mushrooms)—and a glass of pinot, perhaps?—with some happy little campers by your side. Oh, did I mention, it’s free?!

And it won’t be long before the lovely patio is open!

Artisan, Delamar Southport, 275 Old Post Rd. For more information call 203/259-2800 or visit thedelamar.com.
