More Music at Saltwater Grille

Saltwater Grille in Litchfield has long catered to live music fanciers, mostly during the summers and for special events. Now, they’re initiating a fall music series of regularly scheduled, rotating acts, every Saturday night in their cozy lounge.  The music starts at 6:30 and goes till 10:30. “In the earlier part of the evening, the music fits well for the dinner crowd dining in the fireside lounge,” says owner Brett Clugston, “and later, depending on the musician, people sometimes end up dancing.”

There are lots of good things to eat on the lounge menu—soups, salads, sandwiches, potato skins and fish-and-chips—but the good news is that you can order from the regular dinner menu, too.

The series kicks off this Saturday, Oct. 13, with folkie Jim Palermo. On Oct. 20th, it’s Switch Factory, acoustic duo of Nat Worden and Jason Perkel.

Saltwater Grille, 26 Commons Drive, Route 202, Litchfield, 860/567-4900. For more info, go to litchfieldsaltwatergrille.org.
