An "Extraordinary" Dinner at Paragon
The upcoming “Farm & Sea to Table” dinner at Paragon (a headliner in Foxwoods’ Extraordinary Eats” culinary series) has been moved from Oct. 3 to Oct. 4. If you’ve never had the pleasure of dining at this showpiece restaurant way up on the 24th floor of the Pequot Towerr, this is a great time to do it. The seven-course tasting extravaganza, which promises to showcase chef Scott Mickelson at his most brilliant, is a bargain at $89.
Among the courses served up for your delectation are Roasted Artichoke with Confit, Bomster Scallops with chanterelles, rashers and Chinese black vinegar; Stonington Lobster; and 50-Day Aged Rib-Eye. Wines by Saltwater Vineyard in Stonington and Jonathan Edwards in North Stonington will accompany the meal. The coup de grace: warm chocolate tart with roasted apple, Cognac and crème fraîche.
Call 860/312-5130 or 860/312-3000 to make a reservation. For more information about other events in Foxwoods’ “Extraordinary Eats” series, go to foxwoods.com/culinary.An "Extraordinary" Dinner at Paragon
