The spotlight is on 180 of the top traditional and contemporary artists and artisans in the country at the Guilford Art Center Craft Expo. The 55th annual juried fine arts and crafts exhibition is held July 19-22 on the Guilford Green. Exhibitors display decorative and functional pieces in a variety of media, including pottery, blown glass (Nick Leonoff’s art glass, left), painting, jewelry, limited-edition fashions, purses and accessories, tablewear, floor coverings, lighting, sculpture and fiber arts. A silent auction of craft items donated by exhibiting artists is also presented.
Over 175 nationally recognized craft artists will be offering their works.
This year, the show will also run on Sunday, which adds a fourth day to the usual three-day schedule. A food court will be onsite. Admission $7; seniors $5, under 12 free.
