The villages of Salisbury and Lakeville put out the welcome mat along Main Street during the annual Salisbury Fall Festival on Columbus Day weekend, Oct. 5-7. Enjoy a hearty breakfast of blueberry pancakes at one of the local churches before browsing through vintage books and antiques. Stores will run sidewalk sales, a marketplace will feature locally made arts, crafts and jewelry, and there’ll be music, children’s activities and a chili cook-off. The Salisbury Winter Sports Association will also hosts its annual Beer Tasting Festival at the ski jumps.
