The obscenely expensive campaign season is over (and the next one has yet to begin).
Gov. Malloy has announced the state is running about $300 million in the red for the current fiscal year.
Isn't it time for our elected officials to at least begin addressing some of the runaway spending that takes its toll on everyone in this very expensive state?
We'll start right here with a problem so obvious that no one seems to notice it: The cost of new building projects in Connecticut, especially new and refurbished schools.Intervention Needed
