Did you know that behavioral health disorders impact more Americans than any other illness including cancer and heart disease? The reality is that one in four people in the U.S. will experience at least one behavioral health disorder during their lifetime. Behavioral health issues don’t discriminate. They affect adults, children and families and can severely impact lives if left untreated.
At Community Health Resources (CHR) we are here to provide real hope for the challenges of real life. We are a leading non-profit, behavioral health provider in Central and Eastern Connecticut, committed to providing a wide range of high quality mental health and substance use services. We provide services to 16,000 individuals every year through more than 80 programs and 32 locations. Treatment is effective and with the right help, people recover.
On Saturday, November 16th CHR will be holding its 7th Annual FrostBite 5K Run & Walk at the Enfield Street School in Enfield, CT that will benefit CHR’s behavioral health programs. We hope that you will consider supporting this wonderful event and the work CHR does for the adults, children, and families we serve.
Help us continue our mission of providing hope to those who need it most.
