Art of the Northeast, in its 63rd year, is one of the most anticipated regional juried shows of the year at the Silvermine Arts Center, drawing artists throughout New England, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This year’s juror is David A. Ross, Chair of the School of Visual Arts’ MFA Program, New York. Throughout its history Art of the Northeast (AoNE), originally called Art of New England, has been a showcase for many emerging artists who have gone on to receive national acclaim. Jurors have included curators and directors of major galleries and museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MOMA and the Whitney Museum.
