Aztec Two-Step, whose name comes from a poem by beat poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti, burst on the scene with their 1972 self-titled Elektra Records debut, and helped usher the innovative folk/rock sound of the sixties into the 1970s and beyond while on Elektra and RCA Records. Since then Rex Fowler and Neal Shulman have spent a lifetime making music together wowing audiences with intelligent songwriting, dazzling acoustic lead guitar, and inspiring harmonies, and remain one of acoustic music’s most respected and enduring acts.
