Bush-Holley by Candlelight
| Event Date/Time |
Dec 9, 2012
4:00 pm until 8:00 pm
|
| Description |
See Bush-Holley House dressed in the holiday splendor of two different time periods. Vistiors will enjoy kid-friendly tours led by docents in period costumes and then enjoy an additional treat–professional storytellers reading tales of Christmas past in the parlor and the newly restored artist’s studio.
Included in the price of admission is a crafts session for the family that offers two options. Picture a mini-diorama depicting a year-end celebration at Bush-Holley House. Crafters will decorate dolls representing the members of the Bush Family to populate the scene and take home their dolls along with a photocopy of the diorama. Crafts Option #2 lets you create a colonial paper-doll to be used as an ornament or bookmark. Refreshments will also be served.
