Tchaikovsky's holiday masterpiece sparkles with Mystic Ballet's original choreography and characters. This enchanting version follows Clara's adventures with a time-travel twist. Clara, in Central Park at the turn of the century, receives a Nutcracker on Christmas Eve, encounters a mysterious aristocrat, and meets the young man of her dreams before embarking on a wondrous journey through frost and snow to the Land of Sweets. When Santa's workshop proves too chaotic for her taste, she is transported to the Kingdom of Crystals where she must rescue her prince from the spell of the powerful Rat King.

Connecticut's Mystical Nutcracker features captivating special effects and an interactive set that dancers dive into, roll out of, dance on, and disappear under. Stunning, whimsical costumes accentuate the characters' classical and contemporary movements.
