Community Farm of Simsbury, 73 Wolcott Road, Simsbury, CT 
Workshop instructor, Eero Ruutilla is currently a Sustainable Agriculture Specialist for UCONN Cooperative Extension, working with Connecticut's talented community of beginner farmers as part of a new Scaling Up Program. He is also the Technical Assistance & Incubator Farm Coordinator for 3 incubator farm sites in Massachusetts for the New Entry Sustainable Farming Program and has 22 years experience as farm manager at Nesenkeag Farm, a 65 acre certified organic nonprofit farm in southern NH.  The workshop will show how cover crops can fit into a New England vegetable crop operation. Eero will demonstrate via photographs windows of opportunity for utilizing cover crop rotations to build healthy soils while suppressing weeds, insects, & disease.  Registration: $30 regular and $20 for members.  Register at: www.ctnofa.org
