This concert features the return of Hartt alumnus Jess Turner as a composer in residence. The Hartt Wind Ensemble premieres his latest large scale work for solo tuba and wind ensemble called “Heavy Weather, Concerto for Tuba and Wind Ensemble.” Featuring Hartt tuba professor Scott Mendoker, this is a terrific night of new music written by a rising star and alum of The Hartt School. |
