A memorial concert for Judge Anthony DeMayo, who passed away on December 10th, 2012 will be held at the Hagaman Memorial Library on the occasion of his birthday, April 27th at 2 pm. Judge DeMayo and his wife Eileen's generous donations to the library made possible many library programs and the addition of a new community room named in tribute to Judge DeMayo and his family. Please join us by registering at 203-468-3890 to hear some of Judge DeMayo's favorite musical selections. Master Harpist, Wendy Kerner Lucas, accompanied by flutist, Jessica Raposo will be featuring the wonderful music of Mozart who was one of the first composers to write for the harp and flute combination. The program will also include captivating music by J.S. Bach, Camille Saint-Saens and Vincent Persichetti, a concerto and several arrangements of opera arias by Mozart. Wendy Kerner is a professional harpist based in Connecticut and delights audiencesthroughout the region. Her playing has been hailed as "First-rate" by The New York Times. Jessica Raposo, DMA, is a busy flutist and teacher in Fairfield County. She has earned music degrees from the University of Michigan (BM), the Royal Academy of Music (London, MM), and the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, DMA).
