| Description |
Kaha:wi Dance Theater Presents Medicine Bear Medicine Bear is an extraordinary multimedia dance theater performance for young audiences, weaving together two traditional Iroquoian stories. Choreographer Santee Smith (Mohawk) recalls the stories and is enthusiastic to share them with youth. “Providing the opportunity for traditional stories to find relevance within today’s youth population is important to me, especially at this time of ecological crisis.” Free with Museum admission, free to Museum members. School groups are invited to attend; call (860) 396-6839 or email kdavis@mptn-nsn.gov for information.
