Since its founding in 1996, the Chicago-based, two time Grammy Award-winning sextet has been universally hailed as one of the handful of most important new-music ensembles in the world. Its stature was recently confirmed with the announcement of an unprecedented three-year appointment as Ensemble-in-Residence at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, to begin in the fall of 2012. |
