On Sunday, April 7, 2013, South Windsor Cultural Arts will continue its 32nd annual concert series with a concert by Violinist Yevgeny Kutik and Pianist Timothy Bozarth. Russian-American violinist Yevgeny Kutik made his debut with Keith Lockhart and The Boston Pops in 2003 as the 1st Prize recipient of the Boston Symphony Orchestra Young Artists Competition. In 2006, Mr. Kutik was also awarded a Salon de Virtuosi Grant and the Tanglewood Music Center Jules Reiner Violin Prize. Mr. Kutik has performed throughout the world, recently participating in performances at the Krakow Opera House and Auschwitz-Birkenau’s 2012 Annual International March of the Living observances. Timothy Bozarth, a native of Texas who now lives in Massachusetts, has performed throughout the world as both soloist and collaborative pianist.
The concert will include works by Mendelssohn, Bloch, Debussey, Schnittke and Wieniawski.
This concert is at 2:00 pm at the Wood Memorial Library, 783 Main Street, South Windsor. Doors are open at 1:30. Come early for best seats. The concert is free and donations are welcomed.
