Ballet Theatre Company presents its fifteenth annual spring repertory season featuring the premiere of "Tales of Peter Rabbit", under the artistic direction of Roman Baca and starring Taylor Gordon as Peter Rabbit. A revival of the "Les Sylphides" is also on the program. Based on the 1909 choreography by Michel Fokine, and last seen on the Ballet Theatre Company stage in 2005, this classic "Ballet Blanc" is set to the music of Chopin. Additional works on the program include the dynamic "Allegro Classico" set to the music of Mendelssohn and "Peaceable Kingdom", a new contemporary work based on the bronze animal sculptures by Antoine-Louis Barye at the Hill-Stead Museum. Two performances - Saturday May 4 at 1:00 and 5:30 pm.
