Early 20th-century Paris was the setting for one of the great periods of innovation in photography. Brassaï (1899-1984) was among the ambitious young photographers who flocked there and formed a fertile artistic milieu. His evocative, inky-black, rare vintage photographs of nighttime Paris are assembled in this special exhibition. Museum hours: Tu-Fr Noon-4:30 / Sat-Sun 1-4:30 Museum CLOSED March 30-31 |
