The public is invited to attend an Ambassadors’ Roundtable series dinner presentation by Dr. Lori E. Murray on U.S. National Security- A Post-Election Assessment of the Challenges Ahead. This event will take place at the Stamford Yacht Club on November 28, 2012.
Dr. Murray will hold the Distinguished National Security Chair at the US Naval Academy starting in January 2013. She is the former Special Advisor to the President and Director of ACDA on the Chemical Weapons Convention, and helped oversee the bipartisan approval of the Chemical Weapons Convention in 1997. She also served as Assistant Director for Multilateral Affairs of the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency during the Clinton Administration. She has worked as Director of Democracy Programs for Russia and the Newly Independent States at the International Republican Institute and as a Professional Associate at the National Academy of Sciences on proliferation and arms control issues.
The cost for the dinner and presentation is free for AR series members and $105 for the general public. The event will start at 6:15 P.M. with a cash bar. Dinner will begin at 7 P.M. and will be followed by the presentation.
