| Description |
Children ages 5 to 11 will celebrate the life of civil rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during an art-themed fun-filled day at the Westport Historical Society led by Westport artist Roe Halper. Halper, noted for her works of social commentary, will help children create watercolors on the themes of peace, unity and understanding and share her story of meeting Dr. King in Westport. In addition, there will be inclusive games and a chance for the children to make multi-colored puzzles and experiment with printmaking. Register by calling 203-222-1424.
