Clocks: Objects of Art, Keepers of Time

To coincide with the 2016 Connecticut Spring Antique show, the CHS is organizing a display of shelf clocks from its collection. The exhibit will feature early models made by Eli Terry and Seth Thomas, including the prototype of Eli Terry’s shelf clock patented in 1816.
