Sleigh Ride

1.5 oz. Basil Heydon Bourbon  or any other quality bourbon

1 oz. Xante liquor (pear flavored cognac)

1.5 oz. Grants spiced cider.  (Or any other spiced or mulled cider.

)

Garnish with a pear slice or cinnamon stick as well as sugared rim.



Grants spied cider


1/2 gallon apple cider

2 oranges cut in half and studded with cloves

2 or 3 cinnamon sticks

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
simmer for half an hour and chill.



Method:

add all ingredients in shaker with ice and shake vigorously 
strain and pour
rim glass and garnish.



Note this beverage may also be served warm
