DR. DAVID MADER specializes in the latest proven treatments in podiatric care. He earned a degree as a physician assistant before graduating from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and American Board of Podiatric Orthopedists, is affiliated with the Yale Podiatric Residency Program and is on staff at the Naugatuck Valley and Danbury Surgical Centers, as well as Danbury, Waterbury and Saint Mary’s hospitals.
Dr. Mader studied peripheral nerve decompression for diabetic neuropathy under Dr. A. Lee Dellon of Johns Hopkins and microsurgery at Columbia University, where he worked on vessels as small as 0.6 mm in diameter. He also specializes in implants to treat flat feet, endoscopic treatment of neuromas and plantar facsciitis. His office offers a spalike atmosphere with relaxing whirlpool rooms and televisions in all the treatment rooms for viewing patients’ medical records and digital X-rays.
