DR. HUGH CAREY and DR. JONI HANSSON are nephrologists at Metabolism Associates, a kidney specialty group that treats patients with all types of kidney disorders, including chronic kidney disease, glomerular and tubulointerstitial disorders, hypertension, kidney stones, electrolyte disorders and pre/post kidney transplantation care. Dr. Hansson graduated from the UConn School of Pharmacy and Yale School of Medicine, and completed her residency and nephrology fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She is the director of the Nephrology Fellowship Program at the Hospital of Saint Raphael.
