Dr. Mark Weinstein earned his M.D. from the University of Rochester. He did his internship and residency in general and plastic surgery at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Board-certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Weinstein approaches his cosmetic and reconstructive work with great care and sensitivity. He helps patients achieve their aesthetic goals with realistic expectations and results. Dr. Weinstein is the president and founder of Changing Children’s Lives, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides cost-free reconstructive surgery to poor children in developing nations. The organization brings life-changing procedures such as cleft lip and palate repairs to children and adults in Asia, South America and Africa. As an assistant clinical professor at Yale, he actively engages in training residents and medical students who often join him on his philanthropic missions. “I enjoy teaching the next generation of doctors by giving them these rewarding experiences in developing countries.”
