ands for fifteen years before striking out on his own in 2003. Since then\

nd’s top venues\, has frequently appeared live on radio stations\, has bee
n invited to be the opening act for many National performers and has relea
sed his all original CD “This Is It”. Eran Troy Danner is making a mark on

\n Marty Q\, saxophonist / singer / songwriter\, born and raised in CT
has been on the National music scene for only a few years and put out his
first National Release titled “Table for 2” in Jan. 2010.

Marty has written 3 songs that made it to commercial airplay along with ma
ny other cover songs from his CD's. Marty has also won an Honorable Mentio
n in John Lennon Songwriting Contest in 2004 (1 of 16 finalists for 8000 e
ntries) for his song 'Fingerprints on my Heart'
\n After Marty
stamped his sweet soprano sax sound on 'My Girl' on Shanachie Records comp
ilation CD titled 'Smooth Jazz Plays Motown's Favorite Love Songs' Marty t
eamed up with the producer Chris 'Big Dog' Davis to do his own project tit
led “Table For 2”. A lush CD with a blend of melodic tunes featuring Mart
y's signature angelic soprano sax and some very flavorful tenor expression
s too. The title track 'Table for 2' went to #12 on The Billboard Indicato
r Chart for airplay in the country in Smooth Jazz.
\n Growin
g up the youngest of 7 children Marty was influenced by all styles of Musi
c\, mainly Jazz\, Rock & R&B. Marty played clarinet and drums at an early
age of 6 years old.
\n It wasn't until High School that Mart
y played sax. Marty throughout High School and College played in clubs dru
mming and singing and did some studio work as well.
