\n\n Between 1647 and 1663\, Con necticut tried 34 people for witchcraft\, and hanged 11. \;The last p eople executed were Mary Barnes of Farmington and Rebecca and Nathaniel Gr eensmith of Hartford\, on January 25\, 1663. \;It was a dark time\, a nd an important time in Connecticut&rsquo\;s history.
