\n\n Stamford-based motivational speaker and bu siness consultant\, Julie Jansen\, will be the guest speaker at the Novemb er 28th meeting of the Connecticut Chapter of The Editorial Freelancers As sociation (EFA).
\n\n The talk will begin at 7 pm in the Wilton Libr
ary\, 137 Old Ridgefield Road\, Wilton\, and is open to the public.
Ms. Jansen is the author of several books including\, 'I Don’t Know What
I Want\, But I Know It’s Not This: A Step-by-Step Guide to Finding Gratify
ing Work.'
\n She has also written a series of instructional bookl
ets which focus on networking\, image\, delegation and time management. Sh
e has appeared on 'The Today Show\,' MSNBC\, NPR\, CNN Financial News amon
g others\, and been interviewed by many publications\, including Fortune M
agazine and The New York Times.

\n At the Nov. 28 meetin
g\, Ms. Jansen will discuss how to brand and market yourself using traditi
onal methods as well as social media. Attendance does not require EFA memb
ership but a $20 admission fee will be charged to cover costs.
