 a residents will be treated to a ‘pop up’ Gallery experience when C. Parke
 r Galleries hosts a special showing of “History You Can Own” – a collectio
 n of authentic historic documents and artifacts available for purchase jus
 t in time for the holidays.</p>\n<p>\n	 </p>\n<p>\n	“History You Can Own” 
 offers a rare glimpse into the past and a unique opportunity to own an aut
 hentic piece of Americana. The venture is collaboration between Seth Kalle
 r of Seth Kaller\, Inc. in White Plains\, John Reznikoff of University Arc
 hives in Westport and Stephen Rockwell Desloge\, owner of the six Rockwell
  Galleries in Fairfield County.</p>\n<p>\n	 </p>\n<p>\n	The Gallery will h
 ost a special reception from 6 – 8pm with guest hosts Steve Desloge of Set
 h Kaller and John Reznikoff. The reception will feature a selection of the
  nearly 100 documents and artifacts from significant historic individuals 
 and events that can be seen throughout the year at Rockwell Art & Framing 
 in Westport\, the permanent home of “History You Can Own.”</p>\n<p>\n	 </p
 >\n<p>\n	“History You Can Own” items on display will include the miniature
  bust of Abraham Lincoln that Stamford Connecticut native Gutzon Borglum c
 arried with him while sculpting Mount Rushmore\, documents signed by Washi
 ngton\, Jefferson\, Lincoln and Roosevelt\, a map from 1777 of Philadelphi
 a\, a portrait of and documents by Alexander Hamilton\, stock certificates
  signed by J.P. Morgan\, John D. Rockefeller and Robert Todd Lincoln\, ite
 ms from Thomas Edison\, and David Ben Gurion\, a unique six foot long Civi
 l War banner and\, perhaps the most celebrated item\, the chair that Abrah
 am Lincoln was sitting in when he received the nomination for president. A
 ll of the items\, including the chair with a price tag of $145\,000\, are 
 available for purchase.</p>\n<p>\n	 </p>\n<p>\n	Over the last decade\, C. 
 Parker Gallery has cultivated an impressive collection of original oils cr
 eated by distinguished artists. The extensive array ranges from nineteenth
 -century masters to rising stars who have exhibited in salons\, museums\, 
 and major galleries around the world. Though the artists in the collection
  span nearly 100 years\, they were all carefully selected for their hallma
 rks of the impressionist tradition so universally admired: capturing the i
 mpact of light on color and representing its fleeting impression for the e
 ye to savor. This is the first time Tiffany Benincasa\, owner of C. Parker
  Gallery\, has secured gallery space to showcase her collection which also
  includes abstract and whimsical art.</p>\n<p>\n	 </p>\n<p>\n	Items can be
