\n The Willimantic Orchestra\, a community based orchestra\, conducted by David Vaughan\, will present a free concert featuring Jeanne Pocius on trumpet.

Lag uerre\, Conte Haitien and Un sèl badjo\, mi-an\, mi-an\; Beethoven\, Egmon t Overture\; Saint-Saens\, Bacchanale from Samson & Delilah\; Anderson\, B ugler’s Holiday.
\n\n Jeanne Gabriel Pocius\, our guest trumpeter\, lives\, teaches and performs in the greater Boston\, Massachusetts area. S he is also the director and founder of Instrumental Change\, a charitable corporation dedicated to musically enriched educational e nvironments within economically challenged areas. Their first area of empo werment is the Caribbean nation of Haiti
\n\n The Willimantic Orches tra is a non-profit community orchestra affiliated with the Music Program at Eastern Connecticut State University and dedicated to the performance o f authentic orchestral music. Members of the orchestra come a wide variet y of walks of life\, and live in communities across Eastern and Central Co nnecticut.
