\n\n Greenwich\, CT: In keeping with eleven14 Kitchen’s “food is entertainment” approach to dinin g and socializing\, this innovative restaurant and its creative staff roll out “Sunday Funday”\, starting this Sunday\, December 30\, 2012. Brunch a s we know it has now turned into a day-long affaire\, replete with bottoml ess mimosas\, a bloody mary bar\, DJ spun tunes\, and Executive Chef Franc ois Kwaku-Dongo’s seasonal American cuisine\, featuring classic and not-so classic brunch favorites.

\n\n Menu items include\; ol d fashioned ricotta-lemon blintzes\; soft French style omelet wild mushroo ms with aged cheddar and fingerling potatoes\; the 'eleven14 benedict' wit h house smoked salmon\, confit tomato\, and hollandaise\; waffles “walnuti ne” with coconut syrup\, roasted banana-rum gelato and walnut brittle\; an d egg white frittata with broccoli rabe\, sun-dried tomato\, goat cheese a nd onion jam.

\n\n Since opening its doors in May of 2 012\, eleven14 Kitchen\, located inside the J House hotel in Greenwich\, C T\, has made its mark on the dining and social scene in lower Fairfield Co unty. Its indoor-outdoor dining and bar areas and eclectic design has fram ed the restaurant’s approach to outstanding dishes that reflect the season s and the prowess of a passionate team of chefs led by Executive Chef Kwak u-Dongo. Food critics have found it challenging to label eleven14’s style of cuisine\, often referring to it as “surprising”\, while applauding its “simplicity”. Casual fare such as a spicy shrimp tacos\, share the stage w ith more sophisticated dishes\, as seen with the grilled bone-in rib-eye w ith bordelaise sauce. Desserts run the gamut from large chocolate chip coo kies to the tart “Grand Mere” with almond cream\, poached pears and black currant sorbet.
