DESCRIPTION:
\n	The focus of this course will emphasize an approach to th
e human form by way of three-dimensional modeling. Working from the live m
odel\, students will sculpt a 24-inch standing figure. Individual instruct
ion will be given\, as well as teaching demonstrations and illustrations\,
allowing students to acquire anatomical clarity and accurate proportions\
, form relationships in rhythm symmetry\, and focus on characteristics of
the specific model type. Attention to each students’ creative needs will b
e given. All levels welcome.
\n
\n	Please contact Jeremy to r
egister for this course: (860) 834-1742 or email jdavisgallery@sb
cglobal.net
\n
\n	Note: The pose for this class is t
he classic and beautiful pose executed by Michelangelo in the figure of 'D
awn' in his Tomb for Lorenzo D'Medici. A group of students will be continu
ing this pose (from a previous class) in the hopes of bringing it to a hig
her level of completion. New students will naturally begin the pose from t
he armature along with the instructor. This is an excellent and rare oppor
tunity to not only do a classic pose\, but to be in a class with instructi
on in both beginning and finishing stages being taught simultaneously.
