\n Learn the principles of storytelling at a three-day works hop with comedienne Bonnie Levison and showcase your new-found yarn-spinni ng skills at 'Mixed Bag\,' the next Historical Society Story Barn on Febru ary 22\, 2013. The workshop will be at the Historical Society Education Ce nter on January 30 and February 6 and 20\, 2013. During the workshop\, par ticipants will learn about the principals of storytelling and the developm ent of ideas\, then they will craft the arc of their stores and fine-tune their presentation skills for the final performance.
\n\n Coach and program emcee Bonnie Levison has been performing standup comedy and storyt elling on a wide variety of stages for many years. She is a storytelling i nstructor for MothShop\, the community and corporate education program for The Moth\, a nonprofit organization In New York City dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling.
