\n The Simsbury Woman'\;s Club'\;s 44th Annual Arts&nb sp\;and Crafts Festival will be held September 14 and 15\, 2013\, on Iron Horse Boulevard in downtown Simsbury. \; Over 100 juried artists and c rafts persons will be participating in the event making this one of the la rgest and best attended arts and crafts shows in Northwestern Connecticut.
\n\n Participants in the event include landscape\, seascape\, still life\, and portrait artists and photographers\, fine and costume jewelry crafters\, artisans who hand craft soaps\, lotions and other personal care products\, clothing designers\, potters\, blown glass artisans and many o ther talented artists from around the Northeast. \; Hamburgers\, hotdo gs\, homemade baked items and beverages will be available on the festival grounds\, along with a small antique car show sponsored by the Valley Coll ector Car Club. \;
\n\n Iron Horse Boulevard is located in the c enter of historic Simsbury and is within easy walking distance of area res taurants\, shops\, the Old Drake Hill Flower Bridge\, parks\, the scenic F armington Rive and biking and walking paths. \; Admission to the Arts and Crafts Festival is free\, and there is plenty of free parking availabl e in lots adjacent to the Festival. \; The grounds will be open 10AM t o 5PM both days\, rain or shine.
