DESCRIPTION:<p>\n	An exhibition of artwork by students at Lyme Academy Coll
 ege of Fine Arts opens at the Chauncey Stillman Gallery on Friday\, Feb. 1
 5\, with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m.  Both the reception and entry to the
  exhibition are free and open to the public - all are welcome. </p>\n<p>\n
 	This juried exhibition showcases the best current work done by students i
 n all of the College’s major programs\, including the first-year Foundatio
 n program.  The judges are the chairs of the four studio departments.</p>
 <p>\n	Sally Seaman\, Interim Dean and Vice President of Academic Affairs a
 t the College\, anticipates some 90 works will be selected for inclusion i
 nto the exhibition out of an entry pool of at least 160 pieces.</p>\n<p>\n
 	Seaman comments\, “It’s an exciting show that demonstrates examples of st
 udent work from all four years of study at the school and it’s fascinating
  to see the progression of skill and creativity from year to year.”</p>\n<
 p>\n	Lyme Academy College President Scott Colley adds\, “We have an except
 ionally talented student body that is moving through a rigorous program of
  study.  This show is a wonderful opportunity to see both the curriculum m
 ade visible\, and how the students’ talent is cultivated throughout their 
 four years here.”</p>\n<p>\n	The majority of works in the show will be for
  sale.  Seaman notes\, “This exhibition is typically eagerly anticipated b
 y the community not only for its content\, but also for its purchasing opp
 ortunities.”</p>\n<p>\n	The exhibition runs from its opening on Feb. 15 th
 rough Saturday\, March 30\, in the College’s Chauncey Stillman Gallery.  E
 ntry to the exhibition is free and open to the public Monday through Satur
 day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.</p>\n<p>\n	The College gratefully acknowledges
