6 Days to Save at the Shops at Yale!

Event Date/Time

Oct 21, 2013 to Oct 26, 2013

Description

6 Days to Save at the Shops at Yale!

The shops at Yale have joined together to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month and raise funds forCloser to Free from October 21 through October 26 with 6 Days to Save, a promotion that saves lives while saving money.

In an effort to raise awareness and increase charitable giving, the shops at Yale will collect $5.00 donations for custom pink bracelets that entitle donors to six days of promotions at more than 20 participating shops at Yale.

Breast cancer affects so many people in the Greater New Haven region with doctors, nurses, and scientists working around the clock to find a cure for patients and families enduring the struggles of breast cancer. Closer to Free benefits the Breast Center at Smilow Cancer Hospital and funds groundbreaking research at Yale Cancer Center.

Shop once or shop all six days, the bracelet provides exclusive discounts at participating shops and restaurants at the shops at Yale. Once purchased, simply show the bracelet and receive each and every discount throughout the six-day promotion.

The entire $5.00 donation from each bracelet goes directly to Closer to Free and the donation pays for itself in one shopping or dining experience.

6 Days to Save not only saves money, but it also saves lives. According to the CDC, breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, with no regard to race or ethnicity. And in 2009, more than 40,000 women and men died from breast cancer. Help save a life by donating to Closer to Free during 6 Days to Save!
