All Jazz First Thursday Presents: Jazz Vocalist Claudia Hughes

Claudia Hughes has been a professional vocalist for many years in bands and choral groups. Her diversified repertoire includes jazz standards, pop and rock as well as classical music. She studied voice with Bill Finegan and his wife, Rosemary O'Riley. Most recently Ms. Hughes has worked with local voice coaches Marianna Vagnini and Seven Angels music director Richard DeRosa.
Joining Claudia on vocals for the evening will be her husband, Bob Hughes singing jazz and standard duets such as "Let's Call The Whole Thing Off", "Our Love Is Here To Stay", "Teach Me Tonight", "Sometimes I'm Happy" and many more crowd favorites. Bob Hughes has studied voice with Perry Price of Danbury, Eric Trudel of Hamden and Valerie Sorel in New York City. He founded the group "Let Your Light Shine" and is currently President of the Connecticut Choral Society.
