The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame recently inducted Dennis Dunaway of Blue Coupe into it's illustrious ranks for his work with Alice Cooper. Joe and Albert Bouchard were founders of rock legends Blue Oyster Cult with multi-Gold and Platinum awards. Recently back from a sold-out tour of England, Blue Coupe returns to the US for a great summer tour.
This supergroup of influential musicians paved the way for many of the superstar bands of the 80s and 90s and beyond.
The Bouchards and Dunaway were the heartbeat of many of the best known songs in the history of rock. In their show they perform those hits as well as many of their own songs from their highly acclaimed albums.
With the original Alice Cooper group, Dennis co-wrote smash hits like "I'm 18" "School's Out" and "Under My Wheels" while Albert and Joe were writers of many of Blue Oyster Cult's biggest songs including "Cities on Flame" "Hot Rails to Hell" and "Astronomy" that was covered by Metallica. Joe, Albert and Dennis have sold over 20 million albums worldwide and have been awarded over 30 gold and platinum records.
Way back in the 70s, Blue Oyster Cult opened shows for Alice Cooper as both bands eventually headed for the top of the charts. As Alice Cooper became world famous with hits like "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and "Elected", Blue Oyster Cult continued with their own sold-out tours with classics like "Don't Fear The Reaper" "Godzilla" and "Burnin' For You". It was there that these early friendships turned in to a working relationship that keeps the rock and roll dream alive today.
