Book Critic James Wood Presents Lecture on “Why: Fiction and the Biggest Question” at Purchase College

Renown book critic James Wood will present a lecture “Why: Fiction and the Biggest Question” on Thursday, September 19th at Purchase College, SUNY as part of the college’s Burt Sachs Memorial Lecture series. The lecture, free and open to the public and to be followed by a reception and book signing, will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the College’s Neuberger Museum of Art Study. Cited by many as “the most important book critic of our time,” Wood is a staff writer and book critic for the New Yorker and a Professor of the Practice of Literary Criticism at Harvard University.
