Join us for a screening and Q & A discussion with filmmaker Scott Sniffen and others featured in the documentary including Rev. Shannon Rye Wall from the South Britain Congregational Church. The film tells the story of when, in the 1930s, the German American Bund was building training camps across the US. The Bund was directly connected with the Nazi party in Germany and organized and aligned itself with Nazi beliefs and goals. In 1937, two years before the Nazis declared was on the US and before the Holocaust, the Bund planned to build the largest camp in the US in Southbury.
