Jubilee Concert

 

Canadian Brass trombonist Achilles Liarmakopoulos, Maestro Edward Cumming  and Hartt Sinfonia  will be joining Archdiocesan Music Director and Cathedral Organist Ezequiel Menéndez in what is sure to be an exceptional performance. A native of Greece and graduate of the Yale School of Music, Liarmakopoulos joined the legendary Canadian Brass in 2011.  Cumming, who just completed his final season as Music Director of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, is the Director of Orchestral Activities and Associate Professor of Music at The Hartt School. Menéndez’s mastery of the Cathedral’s mighty Austin Organ combined with the virtuosity of Liarmakopoulos and Cumming promises to make this an event to remember.
