Celebrate the universal language of music! Through performance, discussion and demonstration local Roxbury resident and musician, Mark Ingram of African American and Cherokee descent, tells the history and evolution of musical instruments through time. Using handmade traditional instruments such as log drums, animal hide drums, marimbas, flutes, kalimbas, banjo and many more Mark weaves a fun exploration of African-American history, nature, music and art.
