Oliver Ellsworth's Mahogany Card Tables: Reunited at Last

Join the Windsor Historical Society and the Oliver Ellsworth Homestead on Sunday, July 14, from 1pm to 3pm, for a FREE celebration of the reunion of Ellsworth’s pair of mahogany card tables. Start the program at the Windsor Historical Society, 96 Palisado Ave, Windsor CT, where Society Curator Christina Vida will discuss her research and the paths the two tables took from their creation and separation to their reunion 150 years later. Then, visit the nearby Ellsworth Homestead to view the tables and other original furnishings belonging to Oliver and Abigail Ellsworth. The Ellsworth Homestead, located at 778 Palisado Avenue, is operated by the Connecticut Daughters of the American Revolution.
The Windsor Historical Society is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday with tours of our historic houses at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.. General admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and students, and free to children under 12 and Society members.
