Summer Institute: Religious Pluralism in Israel
Jul 29, 2013
Rabbi Dov Linzer of Yeshivat Chovevei Torah Rabbinical School, Rabbi Debra Cantor of B'nai Tikvoh-Sholom, and Miriam Benson, former Legal Liaison for the International Committee Women of the Wall Nashot HaKotel examine the goals, challenges and future of religious pluralism in Israel and its significance to Judaism as a whole.
The JCC’s Summer Institute engages the community with thought-provoking lectures. In commemoration of Israel’s 65th anniversary, this year’s Institute will focus on several pressing issues facing Israeli society. Through exploring these topics as a community, we hope to strengthen our knowledge of Israel’s sociopolitical landscape and passion for the country’s future.
