The Yale Center for British Art: St. Ives Abstraction Exhibit

The Yale Center for British Art is presenting Art in Focus: St. Ives Abstraction, a special exhibit this summer which will run through September 29. This exhibit focuses on paintings and sculptures by artists working in the Cornish town of St. Ives in the mid-twentieth century, and is curated by Yale undergraduates in the Student Guide Program. Notable artists featured include Ben Nicholson, Barbara Hepworth, John Wells, Roger Hilton, and Patrick Heron. Admission is free and open to the public.
