This show is the release concert for Tracy Walton's new album, "If I Ever Get Away."

After playing Infinity Hall in 2012, CT's own Tracy Walton knew that it was the perfect venue to release his next CD. Tracy and his band are excited to return to Infinity Hall and bring you the release of the new album "If I Ever Get Away."

Tracy Walton has never been afraid to re-invent himself. In this spirit , Tracy embarked on a solo career in 2010, and released the aptly titled “Brand New Again” in 2011. At once rough and vulnerable, Tracy’s voice cuts to the heart of any story, taking you down back roads, through broken lonely hearts, and into hopeful, open skies. 

One look at Tracy's cd collection, and you realize you are entering the world of an eclectic songwriter. Through Tracy's songs, you will find yourself on a porch with Johnny Cash, at a protest with Bob Dylan, in love with the Beatles, and viewing the world through the sarcastic eye of Randy Newman. Yet, you will never lose sight of Tracy's unique voice and his original take on the tradition of song. 

Tracy picked up his first guitar at the age of ten and has never stopped playing. In his early twenties he earned a scholarship to study jazz at the Hartford Conservatory. He soon formed a jazz trio that logged 200 shows a year. But, the call of his roots was difficult to ignore, and Tracy found himself being drawn back to the Rock, and Americana music of his youth.
